Mysterious Meatless Burgers

This GQ Burger of the Year Has a Secret Vegan Recipe

In a completely revolutionary turn of events, 2015's GQ Burger of the Year contains not an ounce of beef -- or any other meat, for that matter.

The Burger of the Year is served at Superiority Burger in New York City. Although the patty is described as "nutty," the exact contents of the meatless marvel are shrouded in mystery. Chef Brooks Headley, who is also well-known for being the drummer in a handful of punk bands, will not divulge the Superiority Burger's secret recipe, other than to say that it's animal-free.

The Burger of the Year is topped with iceberg lettuce, a crunchy dill pickle, muenster cheese and a roasted tomato. Superiority also serves a range of wraps and salads as well as house-made gelato and sorbet treats.
