Burger King in Brazil is taking a political stance, motivating individuals to vote through a campaign that serves 'Blank Whoppers.' The publicity stunt is done in collaboration with DAVID The Agency and it is meant to proactively confront citizens who might not vote during the Brazilian presidential election.

The burger campaign is quite clever and it surprisingly addresses political disengagement in a very accessible manner. The 'Blank Whopper' was delivered to consumers with minimal ingredients — only onions and mayo, for example, or with nothing at all. Burger King in Brazil cleverly slipped in a note with it that read: "Choosing a blank ballot is waiving your right to choose; and when you let someone choose for you, you can’t complain about the results."
