Good Catch is expanding its product portfolio with all-new breaded plant-based seafood alternatives that recreate the comfort of nostalgic foods. The products feature Good Catch's proprietary six-legume blend of peas, chickpeas, lentils, soy, fava beans and navy beans, and none of the concerns related to overfishing, mercury contamination or bycatch. According to Chad Sarno, Co-Founder and Chief Culinary Officer at Gathered Foods, makers of Good Catch, "Consumers have become more aware of the environmental impact of eating seafood and we're proud to be a delicious, culinary-driven solution."
The new releases include light and crispy Plant-Based Breaded Fish Sticks, tender Plant-Based Breaded Fish Fillets and Plant-Based Breaded Crab Cakes with 15 grams of protein per serving. These new products are said to offer taste and texture experiences that are comparable to familiar seafood products.
