Bovine Bone Bikes

Sculptor Reese Moore Creates Bone Sculptures Resembling Motorcycles

Created from the bones of cows, these bone sculptures have been titled moo-torcycles. Sculptor Reese Moore has taken an eerie approach to his sculpting projects.

Moore uses multiple skulls and different cow bones and attaches them all together to form the shape of a motorcycle, cleverly placing the bones in place for what they resemble like having a giant skull with horns acting as handle bars. He has also used the vertebrae of the cows to form the shapes of the wheels. The natural curvature of the bones provides the sculpture with similar lines as a regular motorcycle.

The idea of creating a motorcycle out of bones appears to have spawned off the pages of horror novels. Though these are only sculptures and not actual functioning motorcycles, they still give the appearance that you can hop onto one and ride off down the street.
