Visually Inclusive Smartphone Features

Apple Adds the New Bold Assistive Access Feature

Apple recently unveiled a new slew of features that center around accessibility including the new Assistive Access and one of which is the Bold Assistive Access which is catered to the elderly audience or those who have cognitive disabilities. The setting is designed to distill apps and other features down to the core elements so avoid any overload and so users are able to get to their required areas more efficiently.

The access condenses the Phone and FaceTime experiences into a single Calls base. This also ensures that the Messages, Photos, Music, and Camera apps are all streamlined with large text and high-contrast buttons. Apple notes that it is built for “connecting with loved ones, capturing and enjoying photos, and listening to music."
