Located in NYC's historic East Village, Blue Quarter is an interesting new bar that blends cocktails and tea all in an ideal retreat from the hustle of the city's street. Helmed by Sother Teague, this new Mediterranean/Morrocan themed space features a cocktail menu made with tea in some form or another. Flavors like matcha, earl grey, black tea and jasmine oleo, are blended beautifully with tequila, brandy, rum and gin. These unique concoctions give Blue Quarter a unique sense of flavor and allow the bar to stand out amongst the horde of NYC watering holes.
The interior of Blue Quarter explicitly shows off its Mediterranean influence with warm blues and enchanting greens. These bright colors are intermingled with silver and copperware, all of which is lit beautifully under shadowbox light.
