Blue Breakfast Sandwiches

The Blue Moons Over My Hammy Will Only Be Available on October 31st

This Halloween, there will be a new and limited-edition Blue Moons Over My Hammy on the menu at Denny's—but only on October 31st. This colorful menu addition takes inspiration from Denny's famous sandwich and it will only be available at Denny's locations in Miami-Dade.

The blue breakfast sandwich marks a Blue Moon appearing on Halloween night, which happened last in 1944 and won't happen again until 2039. The sandwich takes the form of a ham and scrambled egg sandwich with a Swiss and American cheese blend that's perfectly toasted on blue sourdough bread.

The made-over Denny's sandwich gets its name from the 1935 jazz song, "Moon Over Miami" and it marks a different way for Halloween lovers to celebrate a special occasion that looks a little different this year.
