Blackeye Nitro Cold Brew is Available in Growlers, on Tap, or Cans

'Blackeye Nitro Cold Brew' is a cold-brewed coffee company based in Minnesota.

When its founder, Matt McGinn, learned how to keg cold brew coffee, he began a microbrewery-inspired coffee company. Available on tap, in cans, or in take-home growlers, Blackeye Nitro Cold Brew is a sweeter alternative to traditional hot coffee. The canned product must be refrigerated, but Blackeye hopes to launch a preservative-free version along with three new flavors this fall. Currently, the cans are available in more than 1,000 locations in the Midwest, and Blackeye hopes to expand nationally as well.

Cold brew coffee has become quite popular with Millennial consumers due to its refreshing, less bitter flavor. Many local shops offer their own special blend of cold brew coffee, but as the brewing method gains popularity, we can expect larger chains to release their own interpretations.
