Bitwise, a San Francisco-based crypto asset manager, has announced the launch of the Bitwise Blue-Chip NFT Index Fund, a new feature designed to allow accredited investors to buy into prominent NFTs and digital art collections.
The new feature comes as a result of the explosive rise of NFTs in 2021, which has led to investors around the world looking to invest in what appears to be its own burgeoning industry. The firm has announced that the Bitwise Blue-Chip NFT Index Fund will be available to qualified investors and that it will only accept minimum investments of $25,000.
Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan believes that NFTS present us "with enormous potential for meaning, value and use in our increasingly digital world." Because of this, he suspects that the NFT space, from an investment perspective, is only in its infancy and will continue to grow and evolve in the months and years to come.
