Fresh blackberries and spicy serrano peppers might seem like an unusual combination, but these are exactly the two ingredients that come together in Noosa's newest berry yogurt.
The Blackberry Serrano yogurt was introduced at this year's Natural Products Expo West in California as a flavor that will be exclusive to Colorado. The product is a modern take on fruit-on-top with a twist that combines a rich spicy-sweet profile. As well as being intriguing for its unusual flavor combination, the pure ingredient list is also something that consumers will appreciate.
Noosa isn't the only yogurt producer that's experimenting with sweet and spicy flavor combinations—Chobani launched a Sriracha Mango yogurt and The Collective's Jamaican ginger cake-inspired yogurt is enhanced with a layer of spiced compote.
