The 'BentiX' underwater drone is a miniature, cost-effective take on conventional aquatic drone equipment to help expand access to the technology. The drone measures in at just 11.8-inches by 9.8-inches by 5.9-inches and weighs in at 11-pounds to give it a dramatically more agile design when compared to larger alternatives on the market. The unit has a 3D-printed body that's fully recyclable thanks to its polymer build.
The 'BentiX' underwater drone is presently in prototype mode, but is expected to capture footage in 4K at 30fps for the commercial model. The drone is being funded as part of a Kickstarter campaign where interested parties can pledge €1,000 to get a unit complete with a tether, remote and charger.
