The visualizations of the Beirut Museum of Art are provided by New York-based design firm WORKac and the structure definitely features a strikingly artistic facade. Maintaining a course on the cutting-edge of contemporary architecture, the professionals conceptualize the building to have sculpturally mismatched balconies that will serve a dual purpose. On one hand, the semi-outdoor spaces will serve as airy meeting spaces, where guests can meet and discuss the art. On the other hand, the concept of the balconies will allow for the art to literally "spill out."
The Beirut Museum of Art will feature a total of 70 terraces. The idea behind the construction is to create "a new type of flexible exhibition space."
