I'm just imagining how many diamond earrings you could fit into a building as substantial as the Beijing World Jewelry Expo. The number would be enough to make any accessory enthusiast swoon. DRDS Architecture has done up these grand plans for a gargantuan structure intended to house metalsmithing facilities and an unmatched floor area dedicated to markets and stores.
The interior of the building boasts 350,000 square meters of space that will also include galleries and exhibition halls to host international accessory fairs and conferences. Plazas nestled into the monumental curving forms of the Beijing World Jewelry Expo offer outdoor areas of entertainment. These act as a threshold to lure visitors from the adjacent airport, promising mesmerizing diversions within.
