The Beijing Creative Zone by UNstudio Combines Nature & Shops

An architectural glimpse into the future shows the Beijing Creative Zone, perched in all its glory on the banks of the Beijing River. Designed by UNstudio, the Beijing Creative Zone maximizes the picturesque surroundings of the area.

It reminds me a lot of Beijing's Houhai area, which has shops, restaurants and cafes nestled along a stunning lakefront area.

We've featured some incredible works by UNstudio before, five of which you can see in the related articles below.

Implications - The Beijing Creative Zone by UNstudio won the competition held by the People's Government of Yanqing County. The agency beat out some other tough competition to win the prize.
