The Macaon Beer and Soda Can Artwork Recycles Troublesome Containers

Japanese artist Macaon takes the empty cans from thirst-quenching alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and turns them into masterpieces of beer and soda can artwork.

The art pieces show off the canisters of popular brand name drinks like Yebisu or Fanta soda turned into perched birds of various colors or Pokemon from the popular Japanese pocket monster series. The cans are taken apart and folded like origami paper to form the bodies of the various characters. More than one empty container is often combined to give detail and personality to the mini structures.

The beer and soda can artwork is a good way to recycle empty drink holders without having to worry about sorting them into the correct blue bins.
