BeCause LLC Consults and Invests in Business Models

BeCause LLC was founded by Mats Lederhausen in the beginning of 2007. Lederhausen shares a lot in common with many of the social entrepreneurs that Social Business has interviewed: a shift from a high-powered corporate job to, well, something else. More specifically, Lederhausen was senior executive of McDonald’s Corporation.

"BeCause believes that the source of human energy can be found in the distance between where we are and where we’d like to be," writes Give Good Get Jobs, a social good career website. "Once you know where you want to go it is critical to know how to get there."

BeCause LLC helps does a bit of consulting, for instance, in CSR and strategy but the bulk of its work is supporting early-stage companies that want to scale their purposeful businesses.
