From honking cars to bike bells and people chatting in public, the Beats of the City Pepsi Challenge asks people to get in tune with the sounds that surround them. Although these noises are typically regarded as annoyances, Pepsi knows that they can become music to the ears when they are presented in a pleasing way.
Before it could issue its latest challenge, the giant soda brand collaborated with Ukrainian acoustics brand Pototskiy for the creation of a special set of speakers. These speakers were designed with a massive battery, capable of running for 15 hours, and a four-channel analog amplifier.
Those who are musically inclined are encouraged to create a track based on the sounds of their native city for the chance to get their very own high-end speakers.
