TURBRO is bringing portable hot-water access beyond camp hookups with the 'Rotorua WH-34K,' a propane-fired outdoor water heater that powers its pump and controls from a built-in rechargeable battery. That setup lets RV campers, backyard pet washers, and stable users draw water from a container instead of relying on a fixed line or wall outlet.
With up to 34,000 BTU on tap, the WH-34K can heat water in seconds for showers or muddy-gear rinses. Its battery lasts about 120 to 150 minutes per charge, and a cold-water mode keeps it useful when users only need a quick rinse.
Available through TURBRO, the heater gives campers and RV owners an option that skips permanent plumbing and a power outlet. Because it can draw from a bucket or the included storage bag, the same unit can shift between campsite showers and backyard cleanup.

Why This Trend Is Growing
- Off-grid Hot-water Systems
- Portable heating units with integrated power sources expand hot-water access in locations where plumbing, electricity, or permanent infrastructure is unavailable.
- Battery-assisted Outdoor Appliances
- Rechargeable controls and pumps are reshaping outdoor equipment by making fuel-powered devices more flexible, mobile, and self-contained.
- Container-based Utility Access
- Water-drawing systems that operate from buckets or storage bags create new product opportunities for temporary washing, rinsing, and sanitation use cases.
Industries Being Reshaped
- Camping and RV Equipment
- Mobile comfort products are increasingly bridging the gap between rugged outdoor travel and at-home convenience for campers, RV owners, and overlanders.
- Pet Care Products
- Portable wash solutions support backyard grooming and muddy-paw cleanup without requiring dedicated plumbing installations or indoor mess.
- Equestrian and Farm Supplies
- Self-contained hot-water tools can improve animal care and equipment rinsing in barns, stables, and remote agricultural settings.
