Contemporary bathroom sink designs vary -- from oval-shaped glass and rectangular modern-inspired ceramic to baroque-style detailed basins and vintage revival, but designer Gianluca Paludi and Olympia Ceramica collectively launch a rather unconventional piece.
Appropriately titled 'Vinyl,' the collection fuses "70s consoles and DJ setups" with the structural silhouette of the modern bathroom basin. Further mimicking the retro layout of turntables, the modern rendition features a faucet in the shape of an "arm that holds the stylus," while the volume knobs are cleverly designed to "regulate the water pressure and temperature."
Additionally, the console has an LED mirror with lights, resembling an audio equalizer, and "a music amplifier, controlled by Bluetooth."
