There are a million and one ways to get into a car accident and the Balta Insurance ad campaign points out a few of them. Focusing not only on road conditions, but also on the roles people play in these unfortunate scenarios, it brings to light many distractions and deceptions such as potholes hiding underneath dark pools of water, opinionated backseat drivers and even the driver's own hunger pangs.

The Balta Insurance ad campaign was conceived and executed by DDB, an ad agency based in Riga, Latvia. It reads, "Balta Casco provides insurance against all road pests." The latter part of that statement is visualized through the use of insects decorated in ways that embrace these dangerous distractions. Thus, the Balta Insurance ad campaign is quite surreal in a comical way.
