Bacon Christmas Trees

Oh, Bite It! Creates an Unorthodox Holiday Dish and Decoration

The Bacon Christmas Tree is one way to fill the home with a pleasant smell while also creating a festive piece of decoration. Granted, it won't last long, especially if presented to a group of enthusiastic carnivores. Yet that is the true testament of the Bacon Christmas Tree, that it will delight both the eyes and the stomach.

Created by Oh, Bite It!, the Bacon Christmas Tree might seem like a haphazard creation at first, yet it is actually carefully crafted. It is made out of three to four pounds of bacon, each strip of which are cut in half and baked separately in a muffin pan. The pieces are then piled high and glued with vanilla or maple frosting together.
