Extinct Passenger Campaigns

Volkswagen Showcases the Different Kinds of Backseat Drivers

The Volkswagen Polo is loaded with technology that makes parking a breeze, and to show that backseat drivers will become a thing of the past, Volkswagen's newest social campaign on Facebook features photos from the 'Museum of Extinct Backseat Drivers.’

Images from the campaign point of the different kinds of backseat drivers that are out there, including types that everybody knows like the "Dashboard Pusher" or the "Parking Advisor." Each of these figures is encased in glass, showing them off like pieces in a museum that have long since become extinct. With features like City Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control and a Driver Alert System, these kinds of backseat drivers may very well become a thing of the past, since the car is equipped to do all the hard work for you—and anyone else who is travelling with you in the car.
