What does baby poop taste like? We may know sooner than later because scientists are testing out sausages that are made from Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. The probiotics were taken from 43 different fecal samples of kids up to the age of six months old.

Scientists at the Catalonia Institute of Food and Agriculture Research in Spain conducted the study. Anna Jofre is a food microbiologist and said that, "Probiotic fermented sausages will give an opportunity to consumers who don't take dairy products the possibility to include probiotic foods to their diet." The sausage is full of umami notes and they are good for you, thanks to the probiotics that help support the health of your digestive system. It is the same bacteria that people find in yogurt.

Professional tasters confirmed that the baby poop sausages tasted normal regardless of their low-fat or health concerns.
