Shake Shack is bringing awareness to its recently reintroduced sliced avocado topping by bringing avocado sommeliers into select locations to help guests pick the best avocado. Choosing a perfect avocado is a challenge that requires careful consideration of ripeness and freshness, often requiring a keen eye and a gentle touch.
On April 25th and 26th, participating Shake Shack restaurants in New York, California, Pennsylvania, Texas and Florida will host visiting avocado sommeliers to equip guests with avocado-picking skills, then have them pick their preferred fruit and see it sliced in front of them before it's added to a sandwich.
