The 'dula notes' blog has produced a recipe for the perfect frozen avocado dessert. With a multitude of popsicle flavors to choose from, these avocado ice pop are an excellent dairy-free and vegan-friendly option.
To make the healthy popsicles you will need four avocados, a lime, full-fat coconut milk, coconut sugar, coconut oil, dark chocolate chips, sea salt and unsalted pistachios. Make sure the chocolate chips are dairy-free if you want to keep the recipe vegan-friendly. To begin, combine the avocado, lime juice, coconut sugar and coconut milk to a blender and pulse until smooth. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds and freeze overnight. After the popsicles are frozen, place them on a baking sheet and begin dipping them in the melted chocolate one at a time. Sprinkle the popsicles with sea salt and chopped pistachios and then return them to the freezer.
Once the chocolate is fully hardened you can take out your ice pops and enjoy your delicious frozen avocado dessert.
