Futuristic Vehicle Control Joysticks

The conceptual BMW autonomous vehicle joystick has been designed by Lars Welten as a futuristic control solution imagined for the namesake car brand to help drivers enjoy a more intuitive in-car experience. The joystick is positioned as being for vehicles of the future that will be autonomous, but still require a bit of interaction on the part of the operator. This would allow the user to enjoy intuitive capabilities, while the aluminum, polycarbonate, leather an Alcantra provide a luxurious feeling in the hand during use.

The conceptual BMW autonomous vehicle joystick is imagined with a concrete base for an added industrial feeling and also follows the car brand's design ethos in order to make it applicable for future vehicles.
