CurifyLabs, a Finnish pharmaceutical technology company, developed the Aurum printer and a complementary drug-printing platform that enables pharmacies to produce customized doses. The system combines printing equipment, pharmaceutical ingredients and software designed to support personalized drug compounding within pharmacy workflows.
The company raised $14 million in Series A funding led by Sandwater and HealthCap. CurifyLabs will use the investment to expand its U.S. operations in Jacksonville, Florida, strengthen its supply chain and increase investment in customer support and R&D. The company said pharmacies across 21 states already use its technology to create formulations tailored to individual patient needs.
For consumers, pharmacy-based 3D printing could provide more precise dosing and improve access to personalized treatments. The platform reflects broader growth in customized medicine while supporting safer and more efficient decentralized pharmaceutical production.
