These Nike athlete portraits, created by illustrator Florian NICOLLE, are vibrant demonstrations of athletic pride. Each portrait is meant to depict a different iconic sport, from boxing to football to tennis. Florian NICOLLE's style transforms these sports into works of art that are both eye-catching and exuberant.

The most vibrant and emotional portrait in the Nike series is that which depicts a boxer, standing in fighting stance, ready to take the first punch. One arm has a red streak across it, which, combined with the boxer's chiseled jaw and fierce glare, makes for an intense portrait.

Some of these portraits are comedic as well as emotionally effective. One portrait shows two tennis balls on a purple backdrop.

Florian NICOLLE's famous style is put to incredible use in these Nike portraits. For Nike, this is a unique marketing strategy. By commissioning these striking portraits, Nike has incorporated fine art into the sports industry.
