The last music invasion was from Britain, and the U.S. barely survived. Imagine the next music invasion coming from Asia.

Asian music artists BoA, Se7en, Wonder Girls and Utada are finding a big new audience in the United States and People magazine is exposing this new rock wave coming ashore.

Implications - Asia has always had an impact musically in North America. It's something different and new to people living on the other side of the world. With popular Korean dramas and Japanese cult bands such as Guitar Wolf and Dir En Grey touring the States, the demand for Asian entertainment is at an all-time high. Even though what's popular in the East may have faded in the West, consumers may still be attracted to the cultural interpretations of these trends.
