Overusing the 'Like' button on Facebook is an epidemic that all users go through, which is why the Asaf Hanuka ‘Likecoholic’ poster is so hilariously honest. The illustration was created by the Israeli artist who has been doing editorial illustration since 1995, along with graphic novels that have been available across the US, France, Spain and Israel. Likecoholic is part of Hanuka’s weekly autobiographical comic The Realist, which was started back in 2010.
Plugged into the computer, Hanuka illustrates his Facebook Like addiction, as the thumbs up sign surrounds his overindulged body. Considering the widespread use of Facebook, the satirical poster is sure to strike a chord with many users. The posters are available in a signed 12″ x 18″ form for $40 on Hanuka’s Etsy page.
