By displaying this data on digital dependency, the tool has the ability to help one visualize what they could achieve if they spent less time on social media — from pursuing education or starting a business to traveling and spending meaningful time with one's family.

In addition to personal digital dependency calculations, Trapped by the Screen also hosts a global map that visualizes social media usage worldwide.
