Northern Launches Its First Ever Furniture Collection in Pastel

Artful interior decor is a tricky subject since its design necessarily relies on the space, the aesthetic, relevant color scheme and art movements, as well as inevitable human interaction with the arrangement. Norwegian lifestyle brand Northern previously affiliated itself with lighting design, but has recently expanded into the furniture and homeware market. It debuted its first ever collection at the Stockholm Furniture Fair and the pieces were striking not only in appearance, but also in arrangement.

The artful interior decor in the showroom feature a friendly pastel palette that is brought up by the cozy shapes and assortment of the pieces. A definite highlight of Northern's contribution is the vibrant folded pendant light by Scotish designer Kyla McCallum that builds on the geometrical aspects of the art deco movement and is matched with similar sofa cushions.
