At the proposed aquatics center in Copenhagen, one can enjoy a secluded indoor pool that is framed by beautifully textured pyramids or an outdoor bath experience that seeps down to meet the sea. Japanese firm Kengo Kuma and Associates' layout of the Copenhagen aquatics center is strategic — the pyramids will be positioned in such a way that patrons can enjoy an open view of the harbor, whilst being protected from strong winds. In addition, the award-winning design will house a gym, as well as other sports facilities.
Kengo Kuma and Associates' proposal for the Copenhagen aquatics center is decidedly focused on providing the best and most relaxing experience possible to patrons, while still fostering an open scenic environment and places for socializing.
