‘Nurse’ is an app for health that is capable of making disease predictions, based on a number of different factors. Nurse takes a patient’s medical history and symptoms into account, as well as external factors like climate and geography. The Nurse app forms these predictions from a combination of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Predictive Modeling and Machine Learning. The app is extremely useful for monitoring one’s health, especially when it comes to a symptom that may be a signifier of a larger health-related issue.
In addition to providing these health predictions, the app provides access to first aid instructions, emergency services and locates nearby hospitals, clinics and pharmacies.
As the finishing touches are put on the app, Nurse is set for a beta release in the spring.
