The Harlekiini Lamp by Anna Palomaa, a Finnish industrial designer who is based in Helsinki, may be very minimalist, but it has a distinct point of inspiration. Taking after circuses, which is a common theme throughout some of Anna Palomaa's latest designs, it takes on the shape of a playful cone, which is reminiscent of clowns from yore.

Although this isn't the most standout design from Anna Palomaa's lighting collection, there is something to be said for its subtle nature and versatile existence. Finished with an on/off switch that comes in the form of a chain with a fun ball at the end, the Harlekiini Lamp brings an unexpected touch to homes and even offices.
