This animated card case flashes the message "Nice to meet you" every time it's opened -- but it doesn't use any kind of digital technology to do so.
The front cover of the 'Nice to Meet You' animated card case is full of small slits. As the case slides out of the cover, the slits are filled in by four consecutive configurations of lines, broadcasting the friendly message to anyone about to receive a business card. It's a clever trick of analog animation. The animated card holder creates movement and transformation without the use of a screen. Just like the business cards inside, it hearkens back to a time of more traditional face-to-face contact.
