Perfect Day's Animal-Free Milk Comes from Dairy Yeast Proteins

Perfect Day is now launching a revolutionary animal-free dairy milk that boasts the same taste and texture of real cow's milk, but also uses "uses 98% less water, 91% less land, 84% less greenhouse gas emissions and 65% less energy than typical industrial dairy production."

The cow-free dairy product will make it possible for consumers to enjoy a high-protein dairy beverage at the same price as cow's milk that's free from lactose, steroids, hormones and antibiotics. In addition to these features, Perfect Day also boasts that its milk alternative has a longer shelf life and is more earth-friendly.

With the rise of plant-based eating, many consumers are choosing to forgo cow's milk in favor of alternative milk products that are made from nuts, seeds and vegetables. This is backed up by a report from the Nielsen Company that claims in the last five years, the milk market has shrunken by more than $1 billion.
