Anderson Anderson Architecture has designed a unique set of portable classrooms designed to be as energy-efficient and green as possible. The Enery Neutral Portable Classroom would have solar panels on the roof and recycled rice straw panels in the rooms.
Innovating portable classrooms is a great idea. Portables seem to make up a large chunk of most schools. Making them greener would help schools save on energy costs. Hopefully Anderson Anderson Architecture’s design gets developed sooner rather than later. The Earth, and the schools, need it.
