Contrary to the beliefs of many, furnishings exist that are comfortable as well as marvelously modern-looking. The Ami Collection is a unique range of living room must-haves that embody warmth and elegance at once.
Francesco Rota designed the pieces for Paola Lenti, making use of lightweight and efficient tubular steel frames. These form the flaring shapes of the armchairs and the sofas, and it's from these that the sitting surfaces are suspended with belts.
The prominent feature of these movables is the treatment to the joint armrest and backrest components. These have been filled in with handmade knit tubular chain material that looks a little like chunky wicker. The Ami Collection embodies this lovely homey quality while exuding an edge with bold colors and its metal structure.
