Amazon Key was launched several months ago as a new way for consumers to have packages delivered right into their home and the brand is now expanding the service with the new Amazon Key In-Car delivery option.
The delivery service works by enabling shoppers to choose to have their packages left in the trunk of their car rather than having them left at their doorstep to keep them safe and prevent theft. This will come as welcome news to those who want to receive their packages in a timely manner without having to worry that they'll be left outside all day.
The Amazon Key In-Car delivery service has been tested by the company in California for the past several months and is being launched with two auto manufacturers including General Motors and Volvo.
