The German sportswear giant adidas debuted its new AM4MN cleats at the Super Bowl LII. The brand's latest SPEEDFACTORY project is a pair of high-tech, digitally crafted custom cleats. The unique shoe technology aims to change the world of football, delivering a plethora of technical details with a manufacturing time of only 14 days. This is a production time that is three times faster than its competitors, allowing both Todd Rolak and Joe Robertson, Senior Directors of adidas Football, to believe that it will go past its competition.
The short production time for the AM4MN cleats gives time for adidas to really understand the specific needs of each NFL athlete to continuously and precisely customize the shoes correctly for them. The unique AM4MN cleats have maximum multi-directional speed, strength and traction due to its adidas' SprintFrame and SprintStuds. The shoe's upper is crafted with a Primeknit and held together with a speed-spat seam tape for extra support during high speeds, abrupt stops and changes in direction.
