AJ Walker is a freelance artist who creates surreally distorted graphic art designs for album covers and posters. AJ Walker’s art is largely inspired by surrealism combined with psychadellic 60s and 70s album art. His collaged artworks and illustrations meld together religion, sex, pop culture and sea creatures to create a story.
The distorted graphic artworks tell a serendipitous hidden story between the relationship of the subjects and objects. AJ Walker claims his creative process is a composition of things that speak to him. The collage art technique allows AJ to experiment as an artist with different storylines to create the final distorted graphic poster. Some of the distorted images AJ Walker has created include female subjects with body parts coming from their head or a squid covering their face. The artworks are unusual but nonetheless intriguing.
