Updated On-Flight Dating Apps

The AirDates App Now Includes Social Media Integration

Although the AirDates app has been in planning for quite some time, it was only recently that the in-flight dating service has undergone some serious improvements.

As Engadget reports, its creators have come to compare it to Tinder. It has a lot of similarities to the popular hook-up app, including the use of geo-location, which allows travelers to find someone they have a mutual interest in right on their flight. While some might find the concept of the AirDates app a little intimidating, being that they can't exactly escape a terrible date when they're stuck in a confined space with the person, the CEO believes the opposite.

As Michael Richard claims, a plane is the "safest place to have a date" because users are surrounded by people and are in a controlled environment. In addition, the AirDates app will now allow users to connect their Facebook, Pinterest and Spotify, ensuring that they'll have at least a few topics in common before they match with another user.
