Airbnb and National Parks Foundation are collaborating to help guests find accommodations near 10 remote National Parks.
The platform that's dedicated to helping travelers find short-term vacation rentals has taken on the position of tour guide, renting not only apartments, but experiences. In its newest partnership, the service is aiming to encourage a revival of travel in more rural areas. From the Everglades to the Grand Canyon to the Shenandoah, guests are welcomed to browse through a paired website, finding the perfect spot for a remote retreat. The company hopes to make National Parks more popular though accessibility, which Airbnb believes will aid in the protection and conservation of the land.
In addition to the Airbnb and National Parks Foundation collaboration, the rental platform is donating $50,000 to the nonprofit charity.
