Google's AMIE Interprets Visual and Audio Cues During Virtual Exams

AI video medical consultations are advancing virtual care as Google Research and Google DeepMind develop AMIE to conduct real-time clinical interactions using visual and auditory information. Built on Gemini and Project Astra with a multi-agent architecture, AMIE can observe patient cues, guide virtual physical exams, and perform diagnostic reasoning during video appointments.
