40-year-old Seattle brewery Redhook has announced the launch of Lagersquatch, a one-of-a-kind craft beer that merges the worlds of folklore and beer drinking. The "Sasquatch-inspired" lager boasts a flavorful yet refreshing drinking experience tailored to outdoor enthusiasts; the beer is positioned as the perfect choice for those craving a crisp brew after a long hike or while on a camping trip.
Unlike traditional lagers, Lagersquatch is influenced by Pacific Northwest-style IPAs. “We’re very proud to put Redhook’s spin on an American lager by creating a smooth and flavorful new beer that combines traditional lager malts with hops and techniques that are more associated with PNW-style West Coast IPAs," explained Jason Dodson, Brand Manager of Redhook Brewery.
For those interested, the 5.0 ABV beer boasts easy-drinking tasting notes with a dash of PNW hops and a particularly crisp and refreshing finish. As a result, it makes for a solid option for those seeking an elevated lager.
