Railroad Street Art

Artur Bordalo Turns Train Tracks into Works of Cultural Street Art

Talented artist Artur Bordalo opted for an interesting choice of canvas for his cultural street art series when he chose to spray paint overtop of railroad tracks instead of city walls. The images are gigantic in size and they say something profound about modern society.

Bordalo's street art images are incredibly breathtaking forcing the viewer to fully appreciate them from an unusual aerial perspective. The spray paintings feature images of things like a pair of black scissors moving towards a pink heart, a pair of hands using a set of pliers to cut handcuffs and two shaking hands. In each of the paintings Bordalo uses the shape of the tracks as some sort of element in the image. For example the railroad tracks are used as the bars for a set of music notes.
