Tattoo-Etched Tequila Bottles

2011 Reserva De La Familia is Adorned With Alternative Art

The Jose Cuervo Company has been named the highest-selling tequila brand for the last 10 years, and in light of its success, it released the 2011 Reserva De La Familia bottle. This bottle is the 16th installment of the limited-edition tequila bottle packaging, which comes in a handcrafted wooden box. This 2011 edition bottle was from the creative mind of tattoo artist Jeronimo Lopez Ramirez. Every year since 1995, the Cuervo family has selected a renowned Mexican artist to be featured on the wooden box for its ultra-premium vintage tequila. Most of the proceeds are dedicated to supporting Mexican artists and local culture.

The 2011 Reserva De a Familia bottle heavily nods to the subculture of tattoo art -- particularly tattoo art in the Mexican community. This pricey collectors' item is certainly essential for any collectors of vintage tequila.
