The ice cream is made with crème anglaise, which consists of egg yolks, sugar, and cream. The liquid ice cream is poured into a chilled metal container while various topping ingredients are added. When it cools, the ingredients are flattened like a tortilla and rolled up like mini ice cream cinnamon rolls.
