Designer and creative director Matthew Williams teases a look online at the upcoming footwear designs that are going to launch for 1017 ALYX 9SM later this year. Shown on Instagram, he spotlights designs such as the shimmering iteration of the Mono Slipper to pairs such as bejeweled kitten heels.
He focuses strongly on sculptural footwear silhouettes including the black sculpted designs marked with lines that lead up to the hidden mid-top silhouette, similar to the looks of the Mono Slipper. In addition to this, it is to be expected that for the Fall/Winter 2022 season, there will be bold upcoming looks that include low-top and high-top sneakers that are perfectly blended with angular yet smooth midsole foundations.
